13. What does Chillingworth mean when he says to Hester "We have wronged each other"?
-When Chillingworth is talking to Hester he says "We have wronged each other". He then goes into saying how Hester never really loved him, she just wanted to get married and he should have never left her and should have never agreed to marring her. He knew she was a lot younger that he was but he still married her because of her beauty.
